The Charger FoundationThe Charger Foundation – is a vehicle to foster initiatives for the homeless and disadvantaged, especially for children in our society. Each year, the Charger Foundation hosts annual charitable golf tournaments to raise funds with the objective of purchasing new, warm snowsuits, gloves and hats for the disadvantaged children in our community. Windfall Kids’ Basics program collects and distributes brand-new children’s clothing and other basic needs items to over 100 social service agencies and programs working with Toronto’s most needy children.

To date, the Charger Foundation has raised over $160,000.00 from the past 8 golf tournaments. Some of the proceeds from these golf tournaments are donated to Windfall, who purchases the brand new winter clothing and distributes to those in need.

Charger Foundation also supports other local charities such as, The Salvation Army, The Belinda Stronach Foundation, and Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Windfall has recently started a new innovative program called ‘Windfall Kids Club’, which is an exclusive giving program for families with children between the ages of 4-12. The program’s main purpose is to engage children to raise money to help Windfall acquire much-needed new comfort packs for children entering shelters, snowsuits or winter jackets, and school backpacks full of school supplies for children living in poverty.

This is another program through Windfall that Charger Foundation is also happy to support. Some of the proceeds raised from the 6th annual golf tournament will be used to support Windfall Kids Club.

Our objectives are made possible for these children through hosting annual charitable golf tournaments and with the participation of the volunteers, golfers, donors, sponsors, live and silent auctions.
